ACCOUNTANT

The Department of Justice, Office of Attorney General Jeff Landry, is seeking applications for an Accountant. Salary offered will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate selected. The position will be domiciled in the Livingston Building, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, East Baton Rouge Parish. Offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory background check, drug testing, and reference verification.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and supervising compliance audits of tobacco wholesale dealers; as well as provide ongoing development and guidance support to the organization in its creation of an audit plan and best practices.

Preference may be given to candidates with a current CPA certificate and/or specialized designation including, but not limited to the following: CIA, CFE, CFF, CGAP.
