$50,000 - $68,000 a year plus benefits – Full-time

Qualifications

  1. Accounting/bookkeeping (financial statements, general ledger, payables, payroll, billing) (Required)
  2. Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Adobe, and at least average computer skills (Required)
  3. Comfortable with paperless environment (Required)
  4. Administrative experience (Preferred)
  5. Law firm experience (Preferred)
  6. Accounting degree (Preferred)

Full Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform the accounting functions of the law firm. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Cash Management (payables, ACHs and other digital payments, electronic banking);
  2. Bookkeeping (posting and tracking of income and expenses; trust accounting);
  3. Payroll, including completion of payroll tax returns;
  4. Prepare annual budgets and provide required information to CPA for preparation of tax returns;
  5. Assist the managing partners with administration of the law firm;
  6. Oversee and work with employee who reviews, prepares, and issues invoices to clients in addition to assisting with the above job duties.

Any applicant must be detail-oriented, very comfortable with accounting, and extremely accurate.  It is a requirement that you have sufficient experience, education, and training to perform the above job duties.

This is primarily an on-site job.
