Joe is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional and Estate Planning Lawyer.
Mr. Prisco has worked at a multinational financial firm, at a regional financial firm with multiple bank branches under his purview, and as founder of Advocacy Financial, an SEC registered investment advisor, based in Covington, LA, since 2010.
In 2015 he started a law firm, and together with a law partner, they specialize in estate planning, successions, and trusts.
He is a graduate of the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Finance and Business Economics, a holder of a Certificate of Financial Planning from Georgetown University, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from The Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Joe resides in Madisonville, LA with his wife, Laura, and three boys.
Nicholas A. Bowers, CFP®
Nick Bowers is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, serving in various financial and asset management roles since 2014. Prior to joining Advocacy Financial, where he is a Partner, Nick was the Director of Business Strategy at Innealta Capital, a quantitative asset management firm in Austin, Texas, where he focused on national accounts and key advisory relationships. Prior to Innealta, he worked at Dimensional Fund Advisors, a global asset management firm, where he educated financial advisors on how to build effective investment strategies that leverage evidence-based portfolio construction techniques. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance from Louisiana State University. Originally born in Texas, Nick grew up on the Northshore. He now lives in Covington with his wife Maggie, his son Thomas, and Red Fox Lab, Emma.
